The Township has a full-time Township Planner on staff and with the assistance of the other Township Staff and Consultants, oversees future land development throughout North Whitehall Township. The Planning Commission is an advisory board with nine voting members where eight Township residents are appointed by the Township Board along with a Board representative to serve for a 4-year term. They make recommendations to the Board of Supervisors on land development projects and on ordinance updates.
