The mission of the Public Works Department is to maintain, repair, and improve the infrastructure of the Township. This department strives to provide a high level quality of service for all Township residents.

Road Treatment Notice - August 2025

The following roads are scheduled for Chip Seal Treatment on Tuesday, August 19th & Wednesday, August 20th:

• Mark Ct - Anthony Dr to Cul De Sac
• Anthony Dr - Clearview Rd to Mark Ct
• Mary Anne Circle - Clearview Rd to Cul De Sac
• Hickory Rd - Spruce St to Coplay Creek Rd
• Colleen Dr - Hickory Rd to Cul De Sac

These same roads will also receive a Slurry Seal Coat Treatment on Wednesday, August 27th & Thursday, August 28th

The following roads will undergo a single chip seal process only:


• Cobbler Rd - Fairview Rd to Old Post Rd
• Mulberry St - Spring St to Clearview Rd
• Peach Bottom Rd - Clearview Rd to Spring St




The Public Works Department is responsible for approximately 120 miles of Township Roads and accountable for all of the following:


• Street Sweeping
• Crack Sealing
• Resurfacing and Patching Roads
• Paving
• Roadside Vegetation
• Stormwater Run-off (inlets and pipes) including repairs
• Line Painting
• Bridge Repairs
• Leaf Collection
• Replacement and Maintenance of Street and Traffic Signs
• Maintenance of all Township Trucks and Various Equipment
• Maintaining the Township's Recreational Facilities
• Maintenance of the Township Municipal Buildings



REMINDER to all Township Residents:

Please be cautious and aware of Township crews when they are out working on our road projects and also roadside grass mowing, or during winter months with our snow plow crews out plowing your roadways.
