Open Records Requests
Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law
North Whitehall Township is committed to providing the public with access to Township records in accordance with Pennsylvania's Right-to-Know Law (Act 3 of 2008), which became effective January 1, 2009.
Requests for access to public records must be submitted in writing, either by mail, email, fax, or in person, to the Township's Agency Open Records Officer (AORO). Requests must be submitted on the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Right-to-Know Request Form which is available here.
Once a request is received, the Township has five (5) business days to respond. If additional time is needed, the requester will be notified in accordance with Pennsylvania law.
Fees may apply for copies of records or other services associated with fulfilling a request. The Township will make every effort to provide records in the format requested, when possible.
