Children & Youth Programs

Winter Games Reading Club is for readers in grades Pre-K through 5th. Registration is required.

  • Word Play (grades 4-5) Monday, Jan. 19th at 1PM
  • Winter Games & Stories (pre-K-grade 3) Monday, Jan. 19th at 1PM.
  • Final Program - Saturday, Feb. 7th at 1PM, all ages.

 Dr. Seuss Birthday Party, For all ages, registration requested.
  • Tuesday, March 3rd at 6:30 PM.

PCL T3 (Teens Telling Tales) for grades 6 through 12. This group learns and performs stories at library events.
  • Tuesday, Jan. 6th at 7:30 PM.

Teen Advisory Group for grades 8 through 12, helps plan activities for teens.
  • Tuesday, Feb. 24th at 7:30 PM, Mardi Gras!, create a mask for Mardi Gras. Bring your favorite party book with you.

Kim Chatel, author & photographer. For grades 2 and up. Kim will read her book, A Talent for Quiet and hold a photography workshop. Books available for purchase, registration required.

Winter Preschool, Family & Drop-in Storytimes

Preschool storytimes for children between the ages of 3 and 5 accompanied by an adult.

  • Tuesdays, 10:30 AM - Jan. 6th through Feb. 17th and Mar. 10th through April 21st.
  • Wednesdays, 10:30 AM & 1 PM - Jan. 7th through Feb. 18th and Mar. 11th through April 22nd.
Family Storytime for children between the ages of 18 to 36 months (other siblings may attend), accompanied by an adult.
  • Monday, 10:30 AM - Jan. 5th through Feb. 16th and Mar. 9th through April 20th.
  • Thursday, 10:30 AM - Jan. 8th through Feb. 19th and Mar. 12th through April 23rd.
Drop-in Family Storytimes programs for all ages, adult must attend.
  • Friday, 10:30 AM - Jan. 9th through April 24th.
Registration is required for all storytimes. Spring Storytime Sign-ups begin February 20th.

Bedtime Storytime - Come in your coziest pajamas to listen to bedtime stories, songs & games. For all ages, registration requested.
  • Tuesday, Jan 13th at 6 :30 PM.

Teddy Bear Costume Party for all ages and registration is required. Dress your favorite teddy bear, bunny or T-Rex in a costume for fun activities.
  • Tuesday, Feb. 3rd at 6:30 PM.

Adult Winter Lecture/Performance Schedule
