Children & Youth Programs

Black Rose Teen Tellers - Learn to tell and perform stories. January 8th, 7:30 PM and February 5th at 5:30 PM (performance at Teddy Bear Party), for teens in grades 6 and up.
     
Winter Circus Reading Club is for readers in grades Pre-K through 5th. Registration is required. January 5th, 1-3 PM shopping day for tokens earned, January 17th, 6-7 PM, winter circus fun, and February 2nd from 1-3 PM, Big Top Final Party.
     The
Teddy Bear Costume Party is scheduled for February 5th at 6 PM. This program is for all ages and is open to the public. Bring dressed-up teddy bears for fun activities. Registration is required.
     
Breakfast with the Librarian, a book discussion and activity program for readers in grades 3, 4 and 5, will be held on March 29th, April 5th and April 12th at 9:30-10:30 AM. Registration is required for each Saturday.
     
Saturday Morning Club, for readers in grades K, 1 and 2, consists of books, games and fun, and will be held on March 29th, April 5th and April 12th at 11:00 AM. Registration is required for each Saturday.

     Winter Preschool, Toddler & Family Storytimes begin on January 7th and run through April 25th. Registration is require for Storytimes.
     Toddler storytimes will meet on Mondays at 10:30 AM, January 7th-February 18th and March 10th-April 21st. Tuesdays at 10:30 AM, January 8th-February 19th and March 11th-April 22nd, for ages 18 to 36 months accompanied by an adult.
     Preschool storytimes will meet on Wednesdays at 10:30 AM and 1 PM, January 9th-February 20th and March 12th-April 23rd, for children between the ages of 3 and 5 accompanied by an adult.
     Family Storytime will meet Tuesdays at 6 PM, January 8th-February 19th and March 11th-April 22nd. Thursdays at 10:30 AM, January 10th-February 21st and March 13th-April 25th, for children between the ages of birth to 4 years old, accompanied by an adult.
     The Spring Preschool, Toddler & Family Storytimes programs will begin on March 10th and sign-ups begin February 22nd. Registration is required for all storytimes.
