  • Earthwork along Oakwood Lane was performed to help control drifting in that area thus minimizing road closures during the winter.
  • 1 new ordinance was passed.
  • Over 350 youths participated in the 2005 sports camp season.
  • Additions to our vehicle inventory included a: 1994 Chevy box truck that was refurbished to carry road and street signs and the tools and supplies needed for installation, 1996

The following achievements were accomplished during 2005:

  • Kolapechka Park, at the intersection of Coffeetown and Sand Spring Rds., was completed and is in use.
  • Construction for the new Laurys Station Firehouse Park has begun.
  • Major storm water management improvement projects were completed on Hillside

Rd., Spring St.. and portions of Overlook and Rockdale Rds.

  • The Ormrod wastewater treatment extension project is underway.
  • 28.25 miles of road received surface maintenance treatments.
  • Approximately 348,500 lineal feet of line striping was performed.
  • Numerous roads were leveled with hot mix asphalt.
  • Larger diameter pipes were replaced under Coffeetown, Clear
